Mission

Our mission at IPATH is...

“At the Institute for Peace and Transformative Healing (IPATH), we are passionately dedicated to fostering collective wellness and social transformation in New Jersey. Through mental health services, policy advocacy, research, training, and community empowerment, we strive to promote peace, healing, and resilience while addressing systemic injustices and empowering individuals and communities to thrive.”

"True peace is not merely the absence of war, it is the presence of justice."
Jane Addams

Healing Begins with Truth. Peace Grows Through Connection. Transformation Starts Within.

We aim to:

Foster personal and collective healing by addressing trauma, harm, and disconnection through restorative practices and holistic approaches.

Advance peacebuilding by equipping individuals and organizations with the tools to resolve conflict, restore relationships, and build community.

Champion social transformation by confronting systemic injustices and promoting equity, dignity, and belonging for all.

Through education, dialogue, storytelling, and community-based programming, we work to create spaces where truth can be spoken, wounds can be tended, and new paths forward can be imagined.

We believe healing is not a destination but a shared journey—one that calls each of us to engage with compassion, courage, and accountability.
